Shop, Shipping and Receiving Helper

Solid Stone is currently needing a shop/shipping/receiving helper for our warehouse and deliveries.
Hourly Rate: $12 - $16 per hour

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a detailed candidate who has a good attitude and is interested in working with Stone. The job will be shift work and will be in a small custom shop with advanced machinery.
The primary role of this individual is stone polishing, operating the CNC machinery (training will be provided), to ensure the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments along with making deliveries and pickups. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks with stone materials.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Good at following instructions
  • Capable of working independently
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy loads. 100 lbs are common delivering counter tops.
  • Strong work ethic and a good attitude
  • Required license or certification

  • Class 5 Drivers License

  • Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle
