BEFORE YOU BUY A FARMHOUSE SINK: It’s important to note that if you are planning to update your countertops and sink without changing your existing cabinetry, you may have to alter your sink base cabinet. It’s not generally possible to do a straight swap from a standard drop-in or undermount sink to an apron-front, so consult a handyperson or cabinet maker before making your decision.
